The firm opened its doors for business as the Law Offices of Ike Mbamali in May 1994. Initially, the Firm's practice consisted almost exclusively of United States Immigration and Nationality Law with emphasis on asylum and family based Immigration.

Over the years, the practice expanded to include all aspects of United States Immigration and Nationality Law, as well as Bankruptcy, Real Estate, Landlord and Tenant, Criminal Defense, Wills and Estates, Elder Law and related aspects of Nigerian Law.

In September 1996, the Firm's name was changed to Mbamali and Mbamali to reflect the addition of a new partner Olufunke Mbamali.

Our status as an international Law Firm is marked by our presence in three continents and the fact that we have provided quality legal services to over three thousand individuals and corporate clients from over fifty countries.

In this era of globalization and explosion of information technology we have been propelled and enabled to commence practice of United States Federal Law, New York Law and Nigerian Law from each of our locations in Lagos, New York and London.
